Gabriel

Did they tell them

Just once,

That he was loved?

Did they hold them

In their arms,

And call him beloved?

Did they touch his face

So he could know

That he was real?

Pet his hair,

His cheek,

So he could just feel?

Was he alone,

Locked in

And locked up in his mind?

Could you tell him,

That you love him,

Have you even tried?

But in the end

He was on his own

When you murdered his life.

I hope you

Will suffer like he did

When you die.

Don't lie to me

It is always the same,

I am holding my breath

And hear what you are saying,

I think I am waiting,

For the other shoe

To drop on my head.

That sometimes feeling

That something is wrong.

It sneaks up on me from a deep place

And jumps from your face

To the back of my mind

And onto an age old song.

And when I say that most of the time, I am ok

It is not a lie that I tell.

Even when I am spiraling back

And the tiniest thing sends me over the edge.

I know the truth

For I know you well.

It is just that my mind sometimes get stuck in the past.

And the feelings that truth will never last.

Someone always ended up driving a wedge.

Right to my chest.

Right through my chest.

Too often, I found

That I woke up dead.

Don’t lie to me.

Boobs

You feel like betrayal to me, somehow.

I hold you in my hands and things have changed.

I don’t know what is happening inside of you.

And the truth of it all has yet to be explained.

All that I can do is wait,

And it never seems like enough to me.

I want my mind to release this weight.

The unknown sensation of my reality.

Give my answers with clarity.

I need to know what future will hold.

But I am bound to waiting.

Ticking seconds to the truth is told.

Whole

I cannot always do what I want to.

Some days exist just to breathe.

I just wished my mind let me be.

I cannot always do what I want to.

I'm always ok and always ready to break.

Unable to bend more while people just take.

I cannot always do what I want to.

So I just lie here staring at the ceiling.

Willing some rest into my being.

Wishing society would leave me whole.

Wanting society to leave me alone.

So many rules

Too much hay on the fork.

Too many old cows in the water.

Too much Dutch in my mouth,

And I think I don’t get it.

You don’t say what you mean,

You make it sound fancy.

When you ask me how I am,

You demand a nonanswer.

And I know what it is always

What you want me to say,

But damn I don’t like lying.

Why do you make it that way?

You think you are nonconfusing,

You are mellow and relaxed.

But you have more rules

Than you have friends to tag.

Samen

Samen zijn

En samenkomen.

Samen blijven

En samen doorstomen.

Samen verandering

En samen sterker.

Samen leren

En samen ontdekken.

Samen luisteren

En samen leven.

Conspiracy terrorists

The call for freedom

Comes from the ego’s

Who strangle our freedom

As they go

Threading on the dead

To get

What they think

They deserve to get.

Spreading their lies

Saying we live one.

Spreading disease

Claiming there is none.

Don’t support

Conspiracy terrorists.

They will come for you next.
